The system will create folder at c:\users\account name so you can see that accounts cannot have the same name (they would overlap). Microsoft's recommendation is that Removing an account is a simple matter so accidently creating an extra account is no big deal. Vista has administrator users and standard users.

I didn't mean the documents folder, I meant the folder named with your user name which has replaced the My documents folder. Place a new folder in that folder and name it "test". Try to change the file location of that folder. If you can do that then I'll admit I was wrong ...but not about Vista as a whole;-)

Vista runs faster on my computer than XP does. It boots faster, programs launch faster, and run faster. I've put shortcuts in 'em to my partitions and the folders I really use. Excellent trick. Eg Windows Media Center (sic) looks for videos in My Videos; it's a pain to get it to look anywhere else.
